Site Supervisor / Foreman – Halifax (Immediate Start)
Location: Halifax, HX4
Start Date: Wednesday 27th May
End Date: Wednesday 3rd June
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: 1 week (potential extension based on performance and competency on the tools)
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee works on a residential property project. This position requires a balance of hands-on involvement and effective site management. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining site safety, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising joiners, labourers, and subcontractors
- Providing hands-on support, particularly with joinery tasks
- Assisting with scaffold erection and coping installation
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to (client is highly H&S focused)
- Completing daily reporting and maintaining full site compliance
- Liaising with project managers and ensuring work progresses to schedule
- SSSTS – essential
- Strong joinery background with the ability to assist on the tools
- Proven experience supervising trades on residential construction projects
- Solid understanding of site safety standards and compliance
- Ability to communicate clearly and manage workloads effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Immediate start
